The eighth issue of Toxic Weeds features Hsu Zheng-Tai, the lead vocalist of the rising Taiwanese indie band Wayne So Sad. Blending elements of punk, alternative rock, and folk rock, the band captures the despair of Taipei’s youth, resonating deeply with fans. Hsu is not only a longtime participant in Taiwan’s punk scene but also a uniquely charismatic figure. In this interview, he shares his connection to punk culture and his personal outlook on life.
